How to Get a Driving Licence - Category A1
If you have attended an instructor in driving, you can operate motorcycles with 125 ccm engines and 11 kW of power with an A1 license. You can also drive three-drive motorized vehicles such as trikes.
You can apply for an A1 license at the age of 16 years old. You must pass the theory test as well as a practical test.
What is my driving ability?
A category A1 license allows you to ride two- or three-wheeled motorbikes. They can be equipped with engines that are that can reach 125cc, with a maximum power output of 11 kW. This license can also be used to operate a motor tricycle as long as it has the maximum power output of 15kW. This licence also permits you to drive a moped towing trailer.
If you wish to ride a more powerful motorbike you'll require a category AM licence instead. This permits mopeds with a capacity of 130cc, with a maximum power output of 35kW.

Age restrictions
